Gefällt mir. Es hat sowas leicht melancholisches, wobei ich jetzt auch gestehen muss, dass ich die Musik von Aimee Mann nicht kenne. Nur ein Vers kam mir etwas komisch vor, kann aber auch an meinen mangelnden Englischkenntnissen liegen: - and smoke through my nostrils - . Nicht, dass es falsch ist. Es hört sich für mich nur "schräg" an. Ansonsten prima!

Danke schön. Ja, ich gebe zu, der Vers IST schräg - aber grammatisch voll in Ordnung, wenn auch in ungewöhnlicher Form: "And breathing calmly smoke through my nostrils" wäre normal.
Tja, wenn Du die gute Aimee kennen würdest, fändest Du es erst recht melancholisch. Sie hat den Soundtrack zu "Magnolia" gemacht.

das gedicht ist wundervoll.....melancholisch ja, ....und düster...aber trotzdem großartig....
der vers "breathing calmly smoke through my nostrils" hat mich auch etwas stutzig gemacht....aber nur in der hinsicht, daß ich dachte, nostrils wird nur im bezug mit tieren verwendet.....aber man lernt nie aus....und er passt ins gedicht....

aimee mann hat wirklich viele gute lieder....ich kenne sie seit einiger zeit....aber die lieder zum soundtrack von magnolia gefallen mir am besten....
